Looks like a Dresser- but its a Cedar Chest!

When I found this piece online, I totally thought it was a dresser. And then I went to pick it up and was so excited to see its actually a large Lane cedar chest!!! I have the hardest time passing up this style of furniture, especially with this hardware.

Plus it had a bonus drawer on the bottom for even more storage. The base of the chest was painted with Dixie Belle Paint in French Linen. Then, I gave it a "blended wash" with Gravel Road (this is a fun term I'm calling it)- Basically I applied the gravel road along the edges I wanted to be darker, then I took a damp rag to wash it back. I did this a few times so that it looks blended and washed all over. Afterwards, I used Dixie Belle Satin Clear Coat to seal it, and accented with black wax in all the creases.
